Born: 26th April 1949
The First Sheltie to win Best Dog overall at a Championship Show (this being Birmingham City in 1951). "Roddie" won 11 CCs, a record at the time. He sired 10 Champions and 10 CC winners. He gained his title at Crufts in 1950 where he had the distinction of being amongst the last six for Best in Show. A star not only in the show ring, he appeared on stage in a production of the pantomime Jack and Jill at the Tivoli Theatre, Aberdeen. He was also in demand to appear with models in fashion shows.
